STOK Emballage acquires Imbox A/S in Vejle

STOK Emballage continues its growth and will take over all activities of Vejle-based Imbox A/S on 15 November 2021. The deal makes STOK Emballage the largest packaging trading company in Denmark.

With the acquisition of Imbox A/S, STOK Emballage expands its possibilities to offer corrugated board solutions in small and medium series. "We see this as an expansion of our portfolio, even though Imbox is a relatively small company. But it has a very wide range of machines and products. So it compliments our factory in Middelfart really well. They have different and larger formats than what we can do today. And we're crazy busy in Middelfart, so it will be good to have some more production capacity overall," says Martin Frederiksen, CEO of STOK Emballage, adding, "Then we also believe that there is an opportunity to offer the full range to customers who have shopped at Imbox so far. Because they have only sold self-produced cardboard boxes to those customers, so there is a lot of potential there."

The company's address and activities will remain in Vejle, from where both old and new customers will be supplied with cardboard packaging.
