Product protection with Technofoam
Tailor-made protection in the packaging
When the item being transported is of particularly high value and sensitive to scratches or knocks, it can often pay to have protection designed specifically for the product. Our engineers develop and design tailor-made protection in technofoam, which is the perfect material to protect the packaging during transport.
Technofoam is made of PE, which is punched or cut into the shape needed. Technofoam consists of closed cells that are not destroyed by impact. Where corrugated board, when impacted, is destroyed, technofoam will find its way back to its original shape. This makes the material highly shock-absorbent and suitable for all kinds of protection. Technofoam protection solutions are sized according to the weight of the product, so how much technofoam is used depends on the product to be protected. The correct dimensioning prevents the product from breaking through the protection and thus being destroyed during transport.
After use, technofoam can be sent for recycling in the same way as other plastics.
